Discovering CMA Philippines – When asked, “How did you discover CMA Philippines?” Jocelyn shared that it was her sister—having passed the CMA exams in the UAE—who inspired her to take the same path. “When my sister passed the CMA exams in the UAE, she encouraged me to take the exams as well. I searched for the CMA Philippines website on the internet and decided to take up the CMA program.”  Encouraged by that success, she searched for the CMA Philippines website and decided to enroll in the program.

Opening Doors to Global Opportunities – In response to “In what ways has being part of CMA helped your career grow?” Jocelyn explained that earning the CMA designation brought her numerous employment opportunities both locally and abroad. “When I became a CMA, I  received lots of employment opportunities here and abroad. At present, I am the Senior Trust Accountant for CW Advisors in Dubai. It is a wealth management company based in Switzerland. I believe that because I am a CMA, the owners trusted me that I can perform all the responsibilities they have given me, as I am professionally qualified.” Today, she serves as the Senior Trust Accountant for CW Advisors in Dubai, a Switzerland-based wealth management firm. She believes the trust placed in her by the company’s owners stems in large part from her CMA qualification, which affirms her professional competence. She ended her interview with her statement, “CMA helped me to become the better version of myself. The CMA title itself gave me more confidence in dealing even with the CEO and CFO of big companies.”
